    beside the hill and the Leipreachans used to come in every night to him and he was called King Halton on that account.
    There was a hole in the hill but it was all covered in with furze.
    In the Autumn it is said thata they used to do the most harm; they would scatter corn every where and turn the stucks up side down.
    When James Halton was sick they used to bake bread and mind him.
    In Ballivor a man saw geanncanachs playing football in a field.
    In that place also a man caught a geanncanach; he asked him to show him where the gold was and he refused to tell him they put him on a griddle.
    He told them that there was gold at the butt of an ash tree at the back of the house then.
