  1. I am going to tell you about some names of fields.
    There were a lot of names on fields in the penal days and here are some of them.
    The "Castle" field, the "Long" field, the "Marle" hole, the "Parlour" meadow, the "Forge" field, the "Cruckcur" and "Tom's" meadow.
    The name "Castle" is put on this is put on this field as there was a castle built there long ago and some its ruins remain there still.
    The reason for "Marle" hole being put on this field, on account of there being a big hole in it, it is supposed to be so big that there is no bottom to it.
    The "parlour" meadow is called because it is opposite the parlour window.
