    quietness was in the house ,but the old men begun to talk ;and the young boys broke the pipes and threw them at one another .Very often a piece of an old man's pipe was broken by a piece thrown from some corner of the house.
    At twelve o'clock the Rosary was said ,and after that the people went home .
    The following day the dead person was buried and the friends usually spent the remainder of the day at the grave weeping and praying for the soul departed.
