4.About 50 years ago a farmer from this locality took a cow to the fair of Miltown Malbay to sell.His wife went into town soon after him.The farmer sold the cow and the buyer took him into Bank to pay himAs they were returning to where the beast stood the buyer noticed a woman drawing hairs off the cow's tail.She proved to be the wife of the farmer who sold the animal.The buyer concluded that she did this in order to hold the produce of the cow ,and he immediately refused to take the beast and demanded his his money back.The farmer repaid the money after some noisy arguments ,and took home the cow.She was found dead in cabin next morning.(continues on next page)- Collector
