  1. Bianconi's first journey was from Clonmel to Cahir, but very soon he ran his cars from Clonmel to Cork. In this journey he passed through Ardfinnan. There is still to be seen in the village an old archway which led into the stables that Bianconi used, when he changed his horses and sometimes put them up there for the night
