  1. John Walsh, who lives near our School told me the following.
One day as he was ploughing a field on his land he came on a very big stone of a bright copper colour. As it was getting late, and he had not time to root it up that evening, he said he would do so next day. He came next morning with some of his men, but to their surprise they could not find a sign of the stone, it had disappeared during the night. He looked for it many times after but could never find a trace of it.
This particular field is very near our school.
