    There was once a big fire in the town hall Thurles. ...

    There was once a big fire in the town hall Thurles. There was an oil stove in the hall to heat the place and the tap out of which they used to get the oil, started to leak. Soon there was a pool of oil flowing towards the fire. There was a big explosion and the roof was bloon completely off. SOme people heard the crash and they put the fire under control. Luckily there were no casualties. There was another big fire in my Uncle's Bakery in Fullaloe. The The fire for the oven was not entirely extinguished and a a spark from that fell on to some dry bags and it was not long until the whole place was under fire. The house and the new machinery were destroyed. Some valuable silver was destroyed. The shop was
