- About a mile and a half from the village of Templetuohy in Corrac the people say there is a hidden treasure at Davys of Longorchard. It is said that people went to dig for it. There are a lot of rocks all around on the hill where it is said to be. The people that went to dig it gave a report that the third man to dig for it would be knocked dead and nobody ever went near it since.

- There is a strange story about a crock of gold hidden in a field between Littleton and Urlingford. The name of the place is Ballyerk. The owner of the field is John Hayes. There was a small tree where the gold was(continues on next page)
