    Long ago there was a fort near Rear Cross. The remains are to be seen yet. There is a lot of bushes growing in it and outside it. It is said the fairies were seen there long ago. Music and talk were often heard there. One time some person went to cut a tree there and a woman appeared to him. Then he went home and got sick and in a few days he died. Nothing is seen there at the present time.
