  1. My home address is "Curtain's Lane" which is off the eastern side of the main street of the town of Hospital, in the townland of Barrysfarm and in the barony of Small County. Barrysfarm and comprises the eastern side of the main street and Emly road. There are about eighty families in it with an approximate number of three hundred and fifty people. Mostly all the houses are slated. There are about six old people living in the townland who are over seventy years of age. Carroll is the most popular name and very few people are able to speak Irish.
    Hospital got its name from "Knights Hospitallers" who on their return from the Holy land settled down here to bestow hospitality on
