  1. There are many classes which constitude the travelling community such as beggars, travelling musicians, tinkers, singers, and gipsies. Beggars are the most numerous who travel from town to town on foot. Some will take such commodities as potatoes, flour, and meal, others will accept nothing but money, the latter will use very plausible language to extract money from the people and when refused show their displeasure in no uncertain manner.
