  1. First of all children gather a bunch of daisies and then they cut the stem to about one and a half inches long. The end of the stem of one daisy is holed and the stem of another is pushed through it. This is continued until the chain is the required length. Then the head of the first is threaded through the stem of the last to join the chain.
    Boys find great amusement in snaring rabbits. A roll of fine copper or brass wire was procured and three or four strands twisted together leaving an eyelit at one end the other end was threaded
