    Bleeding a black cat would cure wildfire. A child's blood who was born of parents who both had the same name was also said to cure it.
    Grandson of a blacksmith was said to cure rickets. The sufferer was brought to the forge and put under the bellows and was cured the following day.
    A posthumous child was supposed to cure sore mouths by blowing its breath into them.
    An agent named Rea who was at Galtee Castle made an attempt to knock the wall of the old churchyard in Kyle. He struck his leg with a spade and the leg could not be cured. He had to give up on his job over the sore leg.
