A man who lived near here was going in the yard to his house he saw through the window a fine blazing fire. This man lived alone. When he went in the fire was quenched. He went upstairs to bed and as soon as he was lying down quietly he heard the blowing of the fire he saw a light. He sat up in bed but the light disappeared.
He lay down and again he saw the light and heard the blowing. He sat up a second time and it disappeared. So he lay down and watched and the light stayed on until 12 o'clock. Then all became quiet and he was able to fall asleep.
