   Once upon a time there were an old man and woman named Jack and Joan and they were very poor

   One day Jack went to town for a bag of flour and they were after killing a pig and Joan put a piece of meat upon every piece of head meats of cabbage to see would she have the same amount of pieces of meat as of the cabbage. And as she was putting the meat on the cabbage the dogs was carrying it behind her back so when she looked back she hadn't one piece of meat so she into the kitchen. Jack was home from town with the flour.

   Jack was very rusty when she told him about the meat. About two day s after he got work at a neighbours house. Joan saw a fly in the bag of flour and she carried it up to the hill. It was a very bad and windy
