  1. The church of Duntryleague is an old ruin situated in the townland of Duntryleague.
    Protestants attended there many years ago for service. It is said that there was a row of four-wheeled carriages at each side of the church for a mile long on a Sunday morning
    The bell used in that old ruin is now in the Protestant Church in the village.
    The Moore Abbey is another old ruin.
    The old Catholic Church is another old ruin. It is constructed into a dwelling house.
    It is situated beyond the river Aherlow on the old road leading to the townland of Keeylogues on the south side of the village.
    There was a gallows on Gleneffy (?) road between the dwelling place of Patrick Richardson and Michael
