  1. I heard Thomas Murphy to say at the fire side one night that he heard some old person to say that there was gold burried behind at Saint Brigits well in Hennesys field. One night himself and Tom Clancy and Jack McGrath went to dig the gold. They were digging for a while and a white bull appeared to them. He was roaring around them and they were afraid of the bull. The men ran and when they came back the hole was full of smoke and they did no more to it.
