field called 'the Island' because before a bank was put there the tide used to surround it. In our farm there is another field and also in Ranahans, (a field) called the Island. There is another field called Cluan Paun belonging to Mr Ranahan but it is (not) known why.
In our land there is a field called Shawn háidir because a man by that name lived there long ago, also at the end of our garden there is a bog called Sheehans bog because a man by that name owns it.
