    he was coming home very late. One his way home he saw a shadow. It was funny yo see a shadow so late but he saw it quite plain. However the shadow talked to him and said, "What are you doing at this hour". Jack only said, "Never mind" , even though he was frightened. "Alright said the shadow and it hit Jack with its fist! Jack was in bed for a week after.
    When Jack was better he went out playing cards again but this time he took a bottle of holy-water with him.
    When Jack was coming home again he met the shadow, which had an axe with it. The shadow was just about to strike Jack when he shook the holy-water on it and himself and the shadow disappeared.
