  1. Biddy Early was supposed to be a native of Co. Clare, but still she was well known all over over Co. Limerick. She used to travel around from place . place. It was always known that she used to accompany the good people in their nightly revels, as they could not carry on without a living person. She could also tell whether a person in sickness was going to live or die.
    One time she was known to b living in Athea, so a man from Cullina went o her ask her whether his father was going to live or die. He took her to his house in a horse and a common car. So as the evening was cold and wild she turned her face
