  1. (continued from previous page)
I am grieved to state he is minus his teeth
And size seventeen scarce fits his big feet
He thinks he's a gent but I know he aint
He is just like a photo no artist could paint.
Not forgetting Tom MacAuliffe from near Barrack View
If he don't get a wife there I don't know what he'll do.
His features are dull and seldom look gay
I'm sure he's regretting the loss of his hay,
    P. Hegarty, J. Twomey I nearly forgot
And likewise Dick Shinnick who comes from the Rock.
Not forgetting Jim Kent from sweet Stables' Cross
If he stayed away he wouldn't be much of a loss.
The maidens attending are scattered and few
Misses Colemen and Roche representing Bride View
Not forgetting Fan Cotter who is heard before seen
And likewise the Miss Twohills from bare Carrigeen.
