  2. In a small house belonging to the O'Callaghans of Banteer, Co. Cork, there lived a man who had only one child and this was a daughter. Everything she asked for she would get as she was a spoiled pet. One evening she mentioned to her father that she never saw anyone hanged and she would like him to hang some one for her. Her father went out and called one of his servants and hanged him. From that
