    He spoke to Kennedy saying "You have plenty of time for mass. Come on and we willl have a game of cards".
    Kennedy started to play with the stranger and won a good deal of money. In the course of the play a card fell and when the stranger stooped to pick it up Kennedy noticed that he had very queer legs. Just then some persons appeared returning from Mass and Kennedy said to the strange man "I am late to mass now". The stranger replied "I think we will finish".

  2. A little girl on her way to school had to pass aby a fort which had the name of being "airy". One morning when she was passing by the fort a beautiful lady came out and spoke to her. She invited her into the house to see her baby. The girl entered the fort and the lady kept her to rock the baby until the other children were returning from school and then she led her off with them.
    This continued daily for three or four days and then the teacher noticing the childs absence from school sent
