Good Friday is the best of days on which to sow any crop, and I have seen people, who had not the ground or something else ready on that day, go and plant a small little corner even. An egg laid on Good Friday will keep for a long, long time and cures many pains, but to rub it to the affected place. May-day butter contains a cure also.
