- (continued from previous page)the line, that person should put
up its duck on the grannie and
so on till the whole crowd is
finished. - My favourate game is playing draughts. This
is done in a square carboard with black and
white squares on it. There are black and
white pieces of wood called men. The game is
played by two persons and each one gets
twelve men. They move until they will be
able to cross over one man and carry him
off the board, and if they will not carry
him off the board they will lose their man.
When they will reach the last square they
will king by placing one man on the other.
When a king is got he is able to move
backwards or forwards. The game is then won
when one player has all the other men
taken off the board.- Collector
