In Peake resides a lady of fame and renown who is known by her followers and the Country all around.

    I.
In Peake resides a lady of fame and renown.
Who is known by her followers and the country all round.
And nobly she acted when those coercion laws began.
When the prisons of old Ireland held many an innocent man.
    II.
This lady worked a young man he being a widow's son.
He always felt quiet happy when his daily work was done.
But something came that banished him and sent him far away.
And the lady's house well guarded was before the break of day.
    III.
She drove them off from Coachford and tore their symbols down.
Thus were they remembered by this lady of renown.
