  1. Long ago there lived in Magoola a man and his wife. One day they went to the market in Cork. They walked all the way. They had a pig and they put a rope round her leg. They left at 10 o'clock in the night and arrived in Cork at 8 o'clock in the morning. When they arrived at the market there was a terrible crowd there and they got such a fright that he said to his wife "Peggy come on away home we have no business here, we won't be seen here atall ourselves and our little pig.
And so they walked all the way home again.
