  1. The people used to have for the breakfast, dinner, supper, three meals of potatoes, and when eating used sit in the middle of the floor. Before the used start eating they used work very hard. The drink they used to have was sour milk or "ropy".
Meat was never used at any meal because it wasn't heard of at that time. Eggs were eaten on Easter Sunday.
The vessels used before cups were common were timber cups and basins and tin saucepans, also wooden cups.
[Nots:- what is the difference between timber cups and wooden cups?]
