  1. Long ago a man was driving a flock of sheep to the fair. He met a man coming out against him who said "Good morning Sir and your score of sheep". The man that was driving the sheep said "I haven't a score of sheep nor yet half a score but if I had as many more and half as many more and two sheep and half I'd have a score". How many sheep had he going to the fair:- Answer seven sheep.

    The same man was going to the fair another morning with a car of pigs and on his way he over took another man with another car of pigs. The other man said "Give me one of your pigs and I'd have as many as you".
    By gor I wont said he other man but let you give me one of yours and I'll have twice as many as you. How many sheep had each of them. Answer one had five sheep and the other seven.
