    There was an old man names Dudley who owned a shop in Garnish...

    There was an old man named Dudley who owned a shop in Garnish (where the Post Office is. He was a great man for walking - no matter what journey he'd have to do - if it was to go to Bantry - he didn't mind walking it. So he used to be out all hours of the night . One night when he was passing the Gap of Fircéil a sow and a litter of bonhams came out from under a béalán and followed him.
