  1. One day old Quinlan Murphy was minding cows from the cliff north near Carraig Fhiachna. ‘Twas in the middle of the day and he heard the voice calling him three times, and he couldn’t see anyone. When he heard the third call he was told to go home, and at this time just the cows were closing the edge of the cliff, and when he looked at them he saw them all being turned up from the cliff. He didn’t go home for about an hour after.
