  1. There are some prayers the old people have - God Bless Good Friday.
Good Friday is the day our Saviour was crucified.
The devil passing by with a spear in his hand.
Struck Our Saviour from heart to hand,
His flesh and blood began to flow,
    His tender mother standing by,
With a heavy heart and could not cry
How happy happy those will be
Who say this prayer three times a day
And three times a night never shall enter the fires of Hell or purgatory, Amen sweet Jesus.
