  1. There are certain days of the week that are lucky and unlucky, for removing from an old house to a new house. The lucky days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. All the others are considered unlucky.
There are also lucky and unlucky days for marriage.
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
    Saturday no good at all,
It is also believed by people that it is unlucky to go to see a sick person on Monday, and Friday. It is also unlucky to turn the mattress of a sick person's bed on Friday.
There are lucky and unlucky days for birth.
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go
Friday's child is loving and giving
Saturday's child has to work for his living.
