    the lake has it covered. There are many woods and forths in my Townland. There is one principal one there are two walls around it and inside is a cave that runs underground for a few miles and comes to an end in the bogs not far from my house. It is about six feet high inside and about three feet wide. It is said that the Normans built it for a hiding place for their treasures. There a big wood on the Rockfield estate whcih covers about a hundred acres.
