    Thanks be to God for the light and the darkness
    A prayer usually said after meals
    Prayer
    As St. Peter sat on a marble-stone,
    Christ came to him and said,
    Peter what aileth thee, or causeth thee to moan.
    Blessed Lord, and Master it is a toothache,
    Arise Peter and be healed
    (Anyone who carries these few lines with them will never have a toothache)
    Prayer against fever
    When our Saviour saw the cross
    He shivered and trembles.
    The Jews said this man must have fever or shaking ache.
    The Lord said I have neither fever or shaking ache.
    (Anyone who says these few lines will never have fever or shaking ache)
