    As I lie down upon my bed I pray to God to be my guide, and if I die before I wake I pray to God my soul to take.
    There are four corners on my bed, there are four Angels overhead. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John Bless his bed that I lie on. If any evil troubles me. "oh", Sweet Jesus waken me. Lady of the flowers, Lady of the branch open the gates of Heaven at my dying hour,
    This prayer is said after going to bed.
    On seeing a New-Moon this prayer is usually said:-
    I see the moon and the moon sees me
    God bless the moon and God bless me.
