- St. Patricks well is situated in Killashe. the water is always bubbling in it ad nobody knows where the spring is from. People go there to get cured.
- There is another well in Turnant beyond Dunlavin called St. Nicholas' well. Many have been cured of sore eyes and sore legs. Once a woman used the water for household purposes, and in a couple of days afterwards she died of a terrible disease. Carmel Maguire.
