    Oh Jesus the root. Oh Mary the flower. Oh Jesus and Mary be with me in my dying hour.

    I hope God and the Blessed Virgin will bring us safe past this day and safe past the night and save us from all sickness of the year. We beseech thee God and the Blessed Virgin. God Almighty save every poor creature and keep them in the way of salvation through Christ our Lord.
