    a townland and in olden times it was said to produce some skillful masons. Hence it got the name "Doire na Saor" - the wood of the masons.
    The Coneen; - This is the name given to a large area covered with trees and hedges and is used by farmers for getting scallops when they need them. There are numerous burrows in it and it is full of rabbits and hares.
