Hence it got the name "Doire na Saor" - the wood of the masons.The Coneen; - This is the name given to a large area covered with trees and hedges and is used by farmers for getting scallops when they need them. There are numerous burrows in it and it is full of rabbits and hares.
- Drum- This is the name given to a hill, which is situated a mile outside the town of Boyle, and it is so called because it is situated on the side of a hill. It is also called Drum Conal(continues on next page)
