    day she used to go down a few times to the chapel and everybody in Boyle used to say that she was a saint. One day as she was walking to Ballinafad to visit some friends, she had to cross a style on her way to get into a field where there was a wild bull. when the hill saw her coming he charged at her, but, when Brigid felt the bull coming she put out her hands and when he was beside her she patted him. the bull did not touch her but just walked back to the style with her again and when she left he walked back to the field again.
