    1 Crostoe rubbed between the hands and sniffed is a good cure for headaches
    2 The sap of a dandelion is a good cure to put on warts
    3 Paraffin-oil and turpentine mixed is a good rub for pains
    4 Milk that a ferret tasted is a cure for whooping cough.
    5 A child born after the father's death has a cure for mumps.
    6 A pantation leaf is a cure for a cut or bruise
    7 If you put a cobweb on a cut it will stop the blood.
    8. When a horse has a dirty mouth you redden an iron rod in the fire and burn it away, then put a handful of salt in his mouth.
    9 Blue rubbed on is a cure for the sting of an insect.
    10 Peroxide of Hydrogen is good for cleaning a cut.
    11. A Good poultice can be made from starch.
    12. There is a cute in chick-weed for a felon in a cow's udder.
    14. There is a cure in potato water for a sprain. Bath the sprain with the potato water
    15 Goose seam rubbed into a sprain will cure it.
    16 Goose seam will keep marked skin soft and prevent tightening
