  1. Long ago there was an old man whose name was Clements Beggs and his address was Lisdoney Castleblayney Co. Monaghan. He was a poor man and the Fairies would come round every morning and leave him a shilling on the ditch behind the house. He was not to tell anyone this secret. After a long time he told about it so there was never any more left for him.
