    There was a dark haired blind blind man called James (Jemmy) Meeghan from Lislanely Co Monaghan.

    He had a seat in a certain bush which is still called "Fiddler's Bush" because he always sat there while fiddling for dances. When the dance was over a collection was gathered from the crowd for him.
