    which were called quilts.
    Baskets.
    Long ago people used to make their own baskets. They w ere made of sally rods. There made baroducks for donkeys. They hung on each side of the donkey.
    They carried turf in them, and goods etc.
    Noggins
    In olden times people had no delph or tin wear. They had little pint noggins made of wood. These they used for soup or porridge. One of the staves would be 3 ins higher than the other. It served as a handle.
