  1. I live in the townland of Latnakelly, in the parish of Clontibret, the barony of Cremorne, the electoral district of Carrickaslane. This townland got its name from a lake in it. It is situated on the right hand side of a lane about six miles from Castleblayney. There are a lot of old people in the townland and they are for the most part healthy. Great crops are raised throughout the townland. Its area is about hone hundred acres. The commonest name is Brennan and they are nearly all black haired.
