  1. Tullinagrove or "the hill of the nuts" is situated on the border of Co. Armagh. It must have got its name from the large hill which is in its midst. The land is fertile and great crops are raised. The people are strong and helathy and live to a great age. On one great hill there is a Mass-rock. Not far from this Mass-rock is a "spa" well. Strange to say all along the border-line is covered by bog-land and in the centre there is none at all. The houses are all slated except one which thatched and built over seventy years. Nearly all the people are farmers and all have fertile farms.
