He said he forgot it and promised her faithfully that he would give it in.So she then told him to take the child home to Ireland, and that he would become a religious. When morning came he handed in the offering to the priest to say Mass for his wife. Soon after he brought the child home to Ireland.The last thing I heard of him was that the father went back to the States again.
