  1. Gold is supposed to be buried alongside a castle near my house. It is said that the Geraldines put it there when they were invaded by an enemy. Golden ornaments are supposed to be hidden there and gold coins. Tradition has it that the Geraldines were seen putting it there. The castle is called Ballybeggan castle. People say that the gold is still there under a flagstone and no one guarding it.
