    One of the cures for a tooth ache are frogs legs
    Food left behind by a ferret is a cure for hooping cough
    Yarrow weed for nervous deseases
    Water from a hollow stone to cure warts
    Damp salt for stings, also blue for bee stings or wasp
    Peach tree leaves for dysentry,
    Penny leaves for corns,
    Boiled nettles for rheumatics,
    Root of wild rose for hysteria,
    Germanderspeedwell for jaundise,
    Parsley for kidneys,
    Wart weeds for warts,
    Fox's heart for consumption,
    Linsed meal poultises,
    Sundays well is for curing the eyes and is situated in Oak park
    Mrs. Twiss and "Yankie" Shannahan had healing power
    If a person crawled under an arched brier he would be cured of a certain sickness.
