    the other half. And recognized in the murdered Peddlar her sweetheat who was one of the coastguards that had deserted Minard Station some years before and went off on a smuggler. She waited to see her sweetheart being buried and then returned with her friends to Anascall where after a short time she commenced to pine of a slow illness and died, her poor heart broken. So ends the story of the Peddlars Lake.
